There just aren't enough hours in a day....Over the last month I have been watching a lot of series, so my movie list is not as impressive as I would like it to be. Nevertheless, here are the movies I watched in February...
Velvet Buzzsaw
Year: 2019
Genre: Horror/Thriller
IMDB score: 5,8
My score: 6
Remark: I watched this in the first week it was released on Netflix. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal and that happens to be one of my all time favorite actors. The characters of Gyllenhaal and Russo were written for them.
Doctor Strange
Year: 2016
Genre: Action/Adventure
IMDB score: 7,5
My score: 8
Remark: In my opinions this is one of the best movies in the Superhero-genre. I re-watched it, because Benedict Wong was announced for Dutch Comic Con.
Close
Year: 2019
Genre: Action/Thriller
IMDB score: 5,6
My score: 6,5
Remark: Noomi Rapace is the absolute star of this Netflix Original movie. Although the story is very predictable and it's very similar to other movies in the genre, I liked it! It's a great movie to watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Rapace did all of her own stunts in the movie.
Redemption (a.k.a. Hummingbird)
Year: 2013

My score: 6
Remark: A typical Jason Statham (revenge) movie. The story isn't very original and the movie is pretty predictable, but all in all it's enjoyable. I watched it because Benedict Wong is in it and as I mentioned before, Dutch Comic Con announced him as a guest last week.
